Our History

Sheppard’s Diesel Service began in 1970 in a small shed behind Walkers sawmills at Wyoming.
From such small beginnings a reputation developed and by word of mouth it has continued to grow and service the needs of customers here on the Central Coast as well as far afield in NSW, across Australia and The Pacific Islands.
Here at Sheppard’s we pride ourselves on the service we offer our valued customers. Our integrity and honesty is on display at all times in every aspect of dealing with customers.
By the year 2000 Sheppards Diesel service had developed into a renowned business, recognised by industry leading manufacturers such as Bosch, Delphi, Stanadyne, CAV/Lucas, Zexel, Denso and Yanmar, and partner with them as agents, to bring the best of the best to our customers.
We service various industries, including agriculture, marine, transport and trucking, mining. Many customers come to Sheppard’s who need specialised attention for their regular diesel passenger vehicles for reliable everyday use while transporting families about on the everyday duties. We look after them all.
Every customer is as important as the next.
The evolution of the diesel industry has been a challenge for all and technology and equipment requirements have had to keep up at a very rapid pace. Those who have not kept up are left behind.
In 2016, to offer the best of service, demands having the most up to date equipment and having the education and training to use the technology. Our equipment is very modern and we are constantly re-equipping our workshop to keep up with the fast paced changes that confront the industry. Our staff are very competent, reliable and well trained people who help us to offer the best outcome for all by availing themselves of further training opportunities.
